Paradise!
Thank you so much for welcoming us into the paradise that is Casa de Panque. We have had the most wonder week here. We have loved the pool, the gardens, the football pitch (and the children the Playground). It has been the perfect place to relax, spend time together as a family and explore the surrounding areas; the rivers, beaches and beatiful towns. Such a wonderful house – we feel so lovely to have stayed here. Thank you / Obrigado!

Amazing Treasure
If you don’t like amazing seafood, great prices, vineyards, hiking, charming villages and a restored house surround by vine-yards, then stay away!!! My husband, teenage daughter and I travel a lot and every three years rent a house with our best friends. Well, this was the year and Portugal was the location. It was my job to find the villa, so there was a lot of pressure to find something as wonderful as we’d had in Umbria. Well, this house was beyond everyone’s expectations. The first thing is the owners are some of the most generous and kind people I have ever met. The house was clearly a labor of love, restored to it’s original glory but updated so you have all the modern conveniences. Great showers, wonderful kitchen, two outdoor eating areas and a pool we spend hours and hours in. We grilled outside with fare we bought from the local market in Barcelos. We spent 11 nights in Casa de Panque and none of us wanted to leave. The neighbor brought over lemons and tangerines, the people in the local market made us feel like I had lived there forever. The living space is generous and opens up onto a delightful out door area. I am trying to find something negative to say but am struggling! Great location, it is near local sights and yet quiet and really immersed in Portugal, not some tourist area. We drove somewhere new almost everyday, hiked, swam and enjoyed our home away from home. I highly recommend it.

Hidden treasure in North Portugal
We stayed in Casa de Panque the last 2 weeks of July. It is a fantastic property. The pictures don’t even show how big the property is. We were there with 2 families, with 3 children aged 7 and 8. There was plenty of outdoor space for them to play. The swimming pool and the soccer-field were used every day! The house and garden are maintained to a high standard, everything you need is there. The owners are very friendly and helpfull. A true example of good hospitality. They speak several languages. We had a problem with the dishwasher and it was fixed the same day! Also the owners gave us a lot of tips on where to go. Overall i would definately recommend this property to anyone!

A place of excellence. Absolutely to be recomended. Quiet place gorgeous pool, wonderful place for children. Silence, And exceeding hospitality.
Perfect holiday 10/10
If we could transfer this property next to the beach it would be unaffordable… If you would go on a holiday and only think about the house or property this one should be on your list! Besides that you have more than friendly and generous owners who do everything they can to make your stay as nice as possible. The owners asked us which improvements they can make and we couldn´t mention any, I think this says enough. Hugo, Nuno, their family (including the grandfather 😉 ) – thanks a lot for the great holiday (3 weeks) we had at your house, we will come back next year! The swimming pool is one of the best you can have, the property gives you the feeling of being a landlord, a football field is there, … everything you need… top choice if you want to have a relaxing holiday at the north of Portugal.

Lovely Time

Wonderful Weeks
